Cards for boys

I have difficulties in choosing card designs for teenage boys. Luckily I found these military figures from one recent World of cross stitch mag. Now I can relax one year without worrying the themes for the birthdaycards...


Minusta on todella vaikea keksiä synttärikortteja teini-ikäisille pojille. Onneksi yhdessä hiljattain ilmestyneessä World of cross stitch -lehdessä oli nämä sotilashahmot ja taas mennään yksi vuosi eteenpäin ennen kuin tarvitsee ruveta murehtimaan korttien aiheita...

Have a lovely Easter

Don't open chocolate eggs for your kids while you are stitching... What a lovely choholate spot. I hope I can wash it away. I'll post a pic of the rest of the project after I have given it to the recipient...

Älkää aukoko suklaamunia lapsillenne kesken pistelyn... Mikä ihana suklaatahra. Toivottavasti se lähtee pesussa. Projektista laitan kokonaiskuvan kunhan olen sen luovuttanut saajalleen...

Woodland folk finished

What a relief to get this done. The upper left corner was much nicer to stitch than the owl and the fence though.

Olipa helpotus saada tämä valmiiksi. Vasemman puoleinen yläkulma tosin oli paljon hauskempi pistellä kuin tuo pöllö ja etenkin aita...

Badger is now stitched (no backstitches yet) and the project needs only the fox and the tree & flowers + all those adorable backstitches - uh.

Mäyrästä on pistelty ristipistot (jälkipistoja ei) ja työstä puuttuu enää kettu ja vasemmassa reunassa oleva puu ja kukat sekä kaikki nuo ah, niin rakkaat jälipistot - uh.

I'm glad I have finished that owl and fence. Those backstitches were horrendous. Most of them were everywhere else than in there where the cross-stitches were and I hate that. It would be ok when you stitch on linen but not on aida yuck...

Onpa onni, että sain tuon pöllön ja aidan tehdyksi. Nuo jälkipistot oli piirretty kaikkealle muualle paitsi niihin kohtiin joissa ristipistot olivat enkä kyllä tykkää yhtään. Pellavalla asia menettelee, mutta ei aidalla yök.

Birds II

Second update of my birdstitching. There is only few areas that needs to be done with light blue and all the backstitching left.

Toinen päivitys lintutyöstä. Vielä olisi pari aluetta pisteltävä vaaleansinisellä ynnä kaikki jälkipistot.

Look what I got in the mail today. Outi has stitched this lovely bunny which can be used as a keyholder. In the bunnys pocket there were these cute charms and the ribbon. I tried to take a pic of that sun charm from behind because there is a lovely message in it "made with a smile". Thank you Outi so much =D

Katsokaa mitä ihanuus saapui tänään postissa! Outi on tehnyt ihanan pupun, jota voi käyttää avainpussina. Pupun taskusta löytyi kauniita koristeita ja nauhaa. Tuohon pupun takapuolesta otettuun kuvaan yritin kuvata myös tuon aurinkokoristeen takapuolen, koska siellä luki "made with a smile". Kiitos Outi sinulle oikein paljon =D

Cirlcle of the wolves

Here is the circle of the wolves finished. I recently took quite many of my wolf pics to the framer so this one has to wait for the framing unless I figure out some other way to finish it.

Tässäpä susityö sitten valmiina. Jokin aika sitten vein pinon susia kehystäjälle, joten tämä saa jäädä odottamaan kehystystä ellen sitten keksi jotain muuta tapaa käyttää tätä työtä.
